September was a busy month for OFC. Not only did we host our Onward & Upward teens for a weekend at Camp Akiva, but we participated in North Texas Giving Day for the second time.
Onward & Upward was awesome! We took a group of teens for a fun-filled weekend that included lots of swim time, fishing, crafts, delicious foods, and lessons on faith, hope, and love. As always, the praise team brought down the house with fantastic worship and incredible talent. Our teens and volunteers left camp feeling recharged and ready for a new week!
North Texas Giving Day took place on September 22nd and the gifts we received were an incredible blessing to this ministry! This year, you helped us raise over $34,000 BEFORE matching funds…

It’s because of so many of you, we’re able to offer these programs and support our mission to provide hope to local children of abuse and neglect. We can’t thank you enough for your time, talent, and treasure.
We’re looking forward to the SUMMIT retreat coming up later this month. Please be in prayer for the young adults we’ll see that weekend.
